Narrative-driven Hesburger: A Strategic Design Exploration
As part of the Strategic Design & Identity Course at Aalto University (2021), I conducted research on Hesburger, one of Finland’s biggest brands, and developed a rebranding strategy with practical implementations.
The strategy focused on the brand narrative around its craftsmanship and signature ingredients. I designed six posters featuring bespoke typography and character design, inspired by Hesburger’s packages and its ingredients—from cucumber mayonnaise to ketchup. The campaign aimed to refresh the brand image, making it more relatable and engaging while strengthening its visual identity.
The project was reviewed by Hesburger’s communication department, offering insights into the intersection of design, branding, and cultural relevance.
